After joining Facepunch in 2014 I worked on Rust for a few months, which was in a pre-production phase of a complete project reboot.
I worked on a lot of different stuff at this time, which I'm sure many veteran Rust players will recognize from the devblogs of that era.
- Modular rocks and cliffs set with custom shaders for moss/snow etc
- Prototype modular buildings assets
- Various pre-vis scenes and mockups
- UI design and implementation
- Small Furnace model + VFX
